Welcome to TrainingR00M, My First Self-Published Game!

Hello everyone, and welcome to my first self-published game!

It's been a long time in the making, and it's finally public. This is TrainingR00M, a small puzzle-platformer game that tasks players with overcoming challenges to acquire abilities and progress deeper into the world. It's a tried and true formula and one I adore quite a lot.

This game is technically incomplete, as there are more areas and mechanics planned for it, but it's at a point where I think players will enjoy what is here. So consider its initial release to be a demo. However over time I hope to add more content to the game, so it'll probably become a bit of a series. Right now I'm entering a new phase in life so I'm not sure when the first major update to the game will be, but I have mechanics already planned out for what comes next.

And best of all, this is a FREE title I'm putting out simply to show the results of what I've learned over the past few years. I'm a chronic coffee drinker though, so if you enjoy the game please consider throwing a tip towards another cup of caffeinated night fuel!

In more posts down the road I plan on discussing many of the mechanics of the game and how they were created, as well as some of the level design and aesthetic choice.
